Clueso Pricing 2026: The Export-Minute Budget

Vorec Team · 2026-09-18 · 7 min read

Clueso meters you on export minutes, and the rule catches people out: the cap counts the longest version of each video you export or publish in a billing cycle. Sharing a view-only link counts. Recording does not. And every translation is a separate video — so a three-minute guide in four languages costs twelve minutes, not three.

Everything below was verified on Clueso's pricing page and its export-limit documentation on 18 September 2026. Prices change; check before you buy.

The Short Version

PlanMonthlyAnnual equivalentPer yearUsers
Free$0$01
Solo$50$40/mo$4801
Business$150$120/mo$1,4402 (base)

Business is a workspace package, not a per-seat price. Its base is 2 users; the selector moves it to $200/month at 3 users and $550/month at 10 (annual equivalents $160 and $440). Annual totals here are derived from the displayed monthly equivalent rather than a checkout.

The Export Budget Is The Real Constraint

Solo15/month, or 3 hours upfront annually15/month, 180 annually
Business (2 users)30/month, or 6 hours annually30/month, 360 annually
Business (3 users)45/month, 9 hours annually45/month, 540 annually
Business (10 users)150/month, 30 hours annually150/month, 1,800 annually

How the counter actually behaves, per Clueso's export-limit documentation:

Business has an export add-on; Solo does not, per the comparison table.

AI Credits Are A Separate Meter

Credits are per user: Free 1,000, Solo 2,500/month, Business 3,500/month. They are spent on chat-based video creation and editing, avatars, motion graphics and AI images.

They are not spent on voice generation, script generation or rewriting, or step-guide generation — which is more generous than it first appears, since those are the operations you use most. AI-credit add-ons exist on Solo and Business with no published price.

A third, separate metric: input video length is capped at 10 minutes on Free, 20 on Solo, and unlimited on Business and Enterprise.

What Free Includes — And Where Its Own Page Disagrees

Free gives you 1080p watermarked output on one user, and the feature list across all plans is broad: browser-extension recording, uploaded recordings and mobile clips, PPT and PDF conversion, step guides, translation, script rewrite, visual effects, captions, editing with keyframes, MP4 and GIF export, five article formats, SRT and VTT, embeds and view-only links, and Clueso MCP.

Two figures on Clueso's own page contradict each other:

  1. The Free video allowance shows 10 minutes/month on the card and table, while the FAQ says 15 free minutes.
  2. The Free article allowance shows 15/month on the card but 10/month in the table.

We could not resolve either from public pages. Confirm in-account before planning around them.

Where Features Start

Solo takes you to 2K, watermark-free, and adds custom script and article prompts, pronunciations and transcription keywords.

Business adds 4K, live collaboration, roles, centralised billing, custom fonts, reusable components and clip templates, image-style packs, a custom embed player and analytics.

Enterprise holds voice cloning, Clueso Cuts, editing via AI chat, custom skills, reviewers and comments, multiple workspaces, translation glossaries and rules, custom article templates, and SSO. The auto-update agent is a paid Enterprise add-on.

Note that basic AI avatars, images and motion graphics are on Free and Solo; the advanced versions are Business and Enterprise. And where the Enterprise card repeats a feature that the comparison table also ticks lower down, the table is the better guide.

What It Costs In Practice

UsersBest fitAnnual
1Solo$480
2Business base$1,440
3Business$1,920
10Business$5,280

The jump from Solo to Business is three times the price — and it buys 4K, collaboration and double the export minutes, not merely a second seat.

Is Clueso Worth It?

Yes, if you produce polished product videos and written guides from the same recording and you need them in several languages. The breadth on every tier is unusual — translation, step guides and article formats are not gated behind the top plan.

Yes, at Solo, if 15 export minutes a month on monthly billing genuinely covers you — roughly three five-minute guides, before translations. Annual billing gives you 3 hours available upfront instead, which suits bursty work far better.

Reconsider if you translate heavily. Four languages multiplies your export budget by four, and that is the single fastest way to hit the cap.

Reconsider if you need 4K on a small team. That is Business at $1,440 a year minimum.

Where Vorec Fits

Both support narrated videos and written guides from one recording, so this section focuses on metering and workflow.

Clueso's constraint is the export minute, and it is charged on publishing as well as exporting, with each translation counted separately. That shapes how you work: you think carefully before publishing a link, and translation is a budget decision.

Vorec records your screen: it has its own macOS recorder, and an AI agent can drive that capture through the CLI, recording locally so you review the take before anything is uploaded. It then uses the captured action data — or analyses a recording you upload — to draft narration matched to the workflow and generate the voiceover, so no microphone narration is required. In the editor you can add smooth cursor motion, cursor-follow zoom and click-based auto-zoom, and freeze-sync can hold a frame to give an explanation time to finish. The same capture can also produce a written step-by-step guide with annotatable screenshots, and narration regenerates in supported languages on eligible plans without re-recording.

Plans start at $9/month, with a trial of 200 credits whose exports carry a watermark.

Bottom Line

$480 a year for Solo, $1,440 for Business at its two-user base, rising to $5,280 at ten users. Budget in export minutes rather than dollars, because that is what runs out first.

Before you commit, work out your real monthly minutes including translations — each one is a separate video — and remember that publishing a view-only link draws on the same budget as exporting a file.
