Vorec Pricing 2026: Plans, Credits and Limits

Vorec Team · 2026-10-05 · About 5 min read

Vorec costs $9, $24 or $59 a month, or $86, $230 or $566 a year billed annually. You can try it first with a 7-day trial: 100 credits, no credit card required, up to 3 projects, and trial exports carry a watermark.

Vorec turns a screen recording into a narrated tutorial and a written guide. Plans differ in credits, project count, video length, export quality and storage. This page lists them as they appear on Vorec's pricing page and in its plan catalog on 5 October 2026. Plans change, so check the pricing page, and the currency and tax on your checkout, before you buy.

Vorec pricing cards for the Starter, Pro and Business plans

Our arithmetic for yearly billing: $86 a year is about $7.17 a month against $9 monthly, $230 is about $19.17 against $24, and $566 is about $47.17 against $59.

Read the credit line carefully. The larger numbers are launch allowances that apply for the first three months of a paid plan. After that the standard monthly allowance applies: 150 on Starter, 500 on Pro and 1,500 on Business.

The trial is not a free plan. It runs for seven days with 100 credits, three projects and watermarked exports. Trial exports carry a watermark; Starter, Pro and Business exports do not.

What Credits Pay For

The plan catalog lists these credit costs:

ActionCredits
Analyse a recording up to 3 minutes8
Analyse a recording of 3 to 8 minutes15
Analyse a recording of 8 to 15 minutes25
Analyse a recording of 15 to 30 minutes45
Generate a voiceover for a segment of up to 100 words2
Generate a voiceover for a segment of over 100 words4
Translate narration into another language3
Generate a written help article from a video3
Enhance or restyle narration2
Rewrite a single script1

Analysis cost depends on how long the recording is, and voiceover cost depends on segment length.

A worked example

Here is our arithmetic for a recording under 3 minutes that produces 10 narration segments of up to 100 words each:

Adding a written help article costs 3 more credits, for 31 in total. During the first three months of Starter, 500 credits cover about 17 videos like the 28-credit one. At the standard 150 credits a month, they cover about 5. Vorec's own pricing page gives a rougher estimate of about 15 tutorials a month for Starter during the launch period, so treat our example as one set of assumptions rather than a forecast. These are illustrative numbers, not a promise: real videos vary in length and segment count, and Starter's 5-project limit applies separately from credits.

How Vorec Compares on Price

Different tools meter different things, so compare units before totals. Here is where our pricing guides cover the tools people most often evaluate alongside Vorec:

ToolWhere to read the breakdown
DescriptSee our Descript pricing breakdown
CamtasiaSee our Camtasia pricing breakdown
GuiddeSee our Guidde pricing breakdown
ScribeSee our Scribe pricing breakdown
LoomSee our Loom pricing breakdown

These are different products. Descript and Camtasia are editors, Guidde and Scribe generate step-by-step guides, and Loom records and shares video. Vorec focuses on narrated screen tutorials and written guides, so its credits pay for analysis, voiceover, translation and articles.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is there a free plan?

No. Vorec has a 7-day trial with 100 credits, no credit card required, up to 3 projects and watermarked exports. Paid plans start at $9 a month.

Do I need to record my own voice?

No. Vorec drafts narration from the workflow it captures, or from a recording you upload, and generates the voiceover. You can review and edit the generated script and regenerate the audio for a segment before you export.

Can I upload a recording I already have?

Yes. You can capture a workflow with Vorec or upload a recording you already have. Upload limits depend on your plan.

How many credits does one video use?

It depends on the recording length and how many segments you narrate. The example above shows 28 credits for a recording under 3 minutes with 10 short segments, before any translation or article.

Where do I see how credits work?

Open the "How credits work" panel on the pricing page for the per-action costs listed above. Confirm account-specific billing terms before purchasing.
