Supademo Pricing 2026: Plans, Credits and the 4K Trap

Supademo's free plan advertises 4K video recording. Its detailed comparison table says free MP4 exports are capped at 1080p with a watermark. Both are true — recording resolution and export resolution are different things, and the card only shows you one of them.
Recording resolution and export resolution are separate rows, and only one of them appears on the card. That pattern repeats across this pricing page: the summary cards and the full table do not always agree, and the table is where the answers are.

Scale is priced per creator. Growth is a package that bundles five creators — it is not $350 per person.
A rendering quirk to be aware of. When you flip the billing toggle, Supademo's prices animate through intermediate numbers before settling. We saw $447 and $449 flash by before the monthly Growth price settled at $450. If you screenshot the page mid-animation you will capture a number that is not the price.
Scale Is Cheaper Per Creator Than Growth
This is worth doing the arithmetic on before you upgrade, because the tiers are not a simple ladder.

At five creators, Scale costs $2,280 and Growth costs $4,200 for the same number of seats. You do not move to Growth to get cheaper seats — you move for features. Growth adds HTML cloning and editing, sandbox demos, invisible HTML hotspots, demo versioning, AI data editing, voice cloning, Route Hub and priority support. If none of those are on your list, Scale stays cheaper well past the point most comparisons assume.
Growth's extra creators are +$50/month, shown identically on both billing states. We clicked through to a sixth creator on annual billing and the rendered calculator showed $400/month, or $4,800/year — confirming +$600 per extra creator per year. Growth's minus control stops at five, which is a billing floor for the bundle rather than evidence you need five actual people.
Not everyone needs a paid creator seat. Scale includes five free view-only collaborators, and Growth and Enterprise include unlimited ones. Free includes none. Supademo's support documentation also identifies a Billing Admin role that is free and carries payment and seat access — distinct from a paid content Admin. Do not price your reviewers as creators.
What Free Actually Includes
Free is more generous than the headline number suggests, and the two limits count different things:
- Five guided screenshot/video demos, and
- Fifty standalone video recordings
Both carry unlimited external views. No monthly reset is stated for either figure.
Per Supademo's FAQs, a free workspace can create up to five demos — and if you downgrade while holding more, all your existing demos stay published, viewable and editable using Free features; you are simply blocked from creating more until you are under the cap. Whether deleting a demo frees a slot is not documented, so do not plan around it.
Also included on Free per the table: GIF and SOP exports (PDF and PNG), link and embed sharing, basic hotspots and chapters, zoom and pan, video editing and splitting, Figma upload, and the in-app Demo Hub. A single recording supports 200 steps, and recordings can be merged or added to afterwards. No recording duration ceiling is published.
The Export Trap, Precisely
The Free card says video recording at 4K. The full comparison table says:
- Free: MP4 export up to 1080p, with a watermark
- Scale and above: MP4 export up to 4K, watermark removal included
You can record at high resolution on Free. You cannot get that resolution out, and what you do get carries a watermark. If your reason for using the free tier is producing a shareable MP4, that is the row to read.
Four Places Supademo's Own Sources Disagree
We could not resolve these from public pages, and they are worth checking in-account rather than trusting any summary:
- AI text. The Free card mentions AI text personalization; the comparison table excludes "Generate text with AI" from Free. The labels are different enough that the exact scope is unclear — so do not assume all AI features are free.
- Screenshots. The table excludes Screenshots from Free, but two pricing FAQs state that all plans get unlimited Supa Screenshots. This one is a straight contradiction between official surfaces.
- Zoom animations. The downgrade FAQ lists zoom animations among features lost when moving to Free, while the table shows zoom and pan as included on Free.
- Dedicated support. An FAQ offers Scale customers dedicated success assistance; the table places dedicated support on Enterprise, with Growth getting priority support. Ad-hoc help and a contracted support tier are not the same thing.
Supademo's documentation FAQs also contain unfilled editorial placeholders in places, so treat any uncorroborated claim there with caution.
The AI Demo Agent Is A Separate, Metered Product
This is where budgets go wrong. The AI Demo Agent is an add-on available on paid tiers, billed in credits on top of your subscription.

Custom packages run from $99 to $5,000; we also saw the calculator render an intermediate $199 for 3,182 credits (~$1.25 per call). $199 is not a minimum — it is one point on a slider.
How credits are consumed, per Supademo's credits documentation: one credit per agent reply, plus one credit per 15 seconds of agent voice audio. Time a buyer spends exploring without the agent talking is not billed. The "typical 15-minute call ≈ 20 credits" figure assumes roughly twelve replies and two minutes of agent speech — so the per-call costs above are estimates that depend on how much your agent talks, not fixed session prices, and they exclude the base subscription entirely.
Two more things worth knowing: every paid workspace gets 1,500 free credits for evaluation — that is a one-off trial allowance, not an ongoing free tier — and credits never expire, with optional auto-recharge below 500. Supademo's "no recurring subscription" copy applies to the credit purchase, not to the Demo Platform subscription the agent requires.
Supademo documents a 20-minute session limit with a 10-minute inactivity timeout. That bounds a session's length but not its cost, since replies and voice time drive consumption.
Billing And Trials
There is a 14-day trial of the paid features with no card required, which reverts to Free while retaining your content. Startup pricing applies to pre-Series A companies under $2M funding and under two years old, with the amount given via support. Nonprofit and select education discounts are case-by-case.
On changes: creator and admin changes prorate automatically, additions charge immediately, and removals or downgrades produce credit against your next invoice rather than a cash refund. Note that Supademo's billing documentation still uses $36 and $324 in its worked examples — those are illustrations, not today's entry rate.
Is Supademo Worth It?
Yes, at Scale, if you make interactive demos regularly and want AI voiceovers, captions, branding and analytics without a five-seat bundle. At $456 per creator per year it is competitively priced, and the Mac and Windows desktop recorders start there.
Move to Growth for features, not seats. HTML cloning, sandbox demos, versioning and voice cloning are the reasons — the arithmetic above shows seats alone do not justify it.
Budget the agent separately. If conversational demos are why Supademo is on your list, your real cost is the subscription plus credits, and credit burn scales with how much the agent speaks.
Check what Free's ceiling actually blocks. Free does include shared links and embeds, unlimited external views, and GIF and SOP exports — so it is genuinely shareable. What it caps is 4K and unwatermarked MP4, alongside the five-demo limit, and which of those binds first depends on how you share.

Formats differ, so this is orientation rather than like-for-like.
Where Vorec Fits
Supademo builds interactive demos a viewer clicks through, and it does more than that label suggests — it records video, generates AI voiceovers in 50+ languages, and exports MP4 alongside written SOPs as PDF or PNG. It is not confined to silent click-throughs, and translations are not metered against the agent credits.
The difference is the starting point. Supademo's flow is capture-then-assemble: you record steps and build a guided experience around them. Vorec's flow starts from a plain screen recording of the real product, with nothing configured — the AI detects each click, writes narration matched to what happens on screen, and generates the voiceover, with no microphone involved. Freeze-sync holds the frame when an explanation needs more time than the recording allows, and the same recording also produces a written step-by-step article.
Plans start at $9/month with a free trial of 200 credits; trial exports carry a watermark. It does not build interactive click-through demos, branching, lead capture or a conversational agent, which is Supademo's core strength.
Bottom Line
$456 per creator per year on Scale, or $4,200 for Growth's five-creator bundle — and at five seats Scale is $1,920 cheaper, so upgrade for HTML cloning, sandbox demos, versioning or voice cloning rather than for headcount.
If you are evaluating on Free, weigh two separate ceilings: the five-demo cap, and the 1080p watermarked MP4 export. Links, embeds, GIF and SOP exports are all included, so which limit matters depends on how you intend to share. And if the AI Demo Agent is part of the plan, price the credits separately — the subscription does not include them beyond the one-off 1,500-credit evaluation.
