Best Product Demo Video Software in 2026 (7 Tools)

"Product demo video software" returns two different kinds of tool, and buying the wrong kind is the costly mistake in this category. Interactive demo platforms capture your UI so prospects click through it themselves. Video tools produce a recording that plays start to finish. They sit in different places in your funnel and are priced differently.
This guide sorts 7 tools into those two camps and gives each vendor's published pricing as we captured it between 30 September and 15 October 2026 (the date is next to each tool). Prices show a dollar sign; none were checked at checkout, so confirm before you buy. We published this, and Vorec is on the list, so read our entry with that in mind.

Several interactive tools also export video, GIF or PDF, so the line is blurry. The question to ask is which format is the primary asset, and where it will live.
The 7 tools
1. Vorec: narrated demo video from a recording

Arcade captures a clickable guided demo through a Chrome extension or Mac/Windows desktop capture, with share links and iframe embeds on every plan. Its demo plans list AI voiceover, and it now sells AI video as a separate credit-based product.

3. Storylane: interactive demos for sales teams
Storylane captures screenshot, HTML and video flows, and lists AI voiceovers, Media to Demo and an MCP connection. The HTML demo editor starts on Growth, not on the cheapest paid plan. Downloaded GIF or video exports lose click-through interactivity.

4. Navattic: HTML demos for revenue teams
Navattic's Starter is $0 for one seat and one demo. Paid plans bring unlimited HTML demos, AI voiceovers (premium on Base), integrations and, on Growth, SSO and translation. It exports PDF (up to 60 steps), and GIF or MP4 for one flow of up to 15 steps at 1 to 5 seconds per step, so exports are timed demo clips, not full workflow videos.

5. Synthesia: avatar-presented video
Synthesia generates an AI avatar presenting your script, with 140+ languages listed. It fits explainer-style videos where a presenter matters more than showing a live interface.
Pricing (10 October 2026): Basic $0 (10 minutes of video a month, 1 editor); Starter $29 monthly or $18 billed yearly; Pro from $89 monthly or $64 billed yearly; Enterprise custom.
6. Camtasia: hands-on editing
Camtasia is a screen recorder with a full timeline editor. Generated voiceover and scripts arrive on the Create plan, not the cheapest ones.

7. Loom: quick personal videos

Prices are vendor list prices on the dates above. Plans meter different things (seats, credits, minutes), so a lower number is not automatically a better deal.
How to choose
- Where will it live? On a landing page or in a sales email, look at Arcade, Storylane or Navattic. In a help center, onboarding flow or on YouTube, look at video tools.
- Does it need to explain a real interface? An avatar reading a script shows no product. A screen capture with narration does.
- How often will the UI change? Re-capturing is the hidden cost in every tool here. Test one update before you commit.
