Vyond Pricing 2026: Starter, Professional, Enterprise
Vorec Team · 2026-10-04 · About 7 min read
Vyond's plans start at US$99 a month, or $699 billed annually, for Starter, a single-user plan. Professional is US$199 a month or $1,199 a year per user. Enterprise ($1,649 a year per user) and Agency ($1,999) are offered on annual billing only.
The headline price is only part of it. Most of Vyond's AI features spend credits, and each plan has a monthly credit allowance and a cap on video downloads. This guide covers both, using only what Vyond's plans page and help center showed when we read them.
Verified 4 October 2026 from Vyond's rendered plans page in a desktop browser, with both billing views read twice after the prices settled, plus Vyond's help articles on trials and its pricing update. No trial, purchase or sales form was submitted. Prices are shown in US dollars. Taxes and checkout totals weren't checked.
Vyond plans at a glance
| Plan | Monthly billing | Annual charge | Annual, shown per month | Seat basis |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | US$99 | $699 | US$58 | Single user |
| Professional | US$199 | $1,199 | US$100 | Per user |
| Enterprise | Not offered monthly | $1,649 | US$137 | Per user |
| Agency | Not offered monthly | $1,999 | US$167 | Per user |
Use the annual charges, not the per-month figures, for budgeting. The per-month numbers are rounded: $58 × 12 is $696, not $699, and $137 × 12 is $1,644, not $1,649.
Enterprise and Agency have "Buy Now" buttons for annual purchase, plus a "Contact Us for Multi-Seat Pricing" link. So they aren't quote-only. No minimum seat count is stated. There's also a separate link for US Government FedRAMP (Vyond for Government).
Credits and download caps
| Plan | Credits per user, per month | Video downloads per month |
|---|---|---|
| Starter | 10,000 | 100 |
| Professional | 20,000 | 200 |
| Enterprise | "Virtually unlimited" | "Virtually unlimited" |
| Agency | 400,000 | "Virtually unlimited" |
"Virtually unlimited" is Vyond's wording. We're quoting it as written rather than promising unrestricted use.
The comparison table also has a "Max. Video Duration" row reading 25, 40, 90 and 90. The captured page doesn't show the unit, so we're not stating those as minutes.
The plans page shows no storage or bandwidth allowance.
What each plan includes
Starter: US$99 a month or $699 a year
A single-user plan. The card lists access to AI avatars and tools, 650+ high-quality text-to-speech voices, screen and webcam recording, text to video (including doc, script and URL to video), and 10,000 credits per user each month.
Professional: US$199 a month or $1,199 a year, per user
Everything in Starter, plus team collaboration tools, access to 4M+ Shutterstock assets, instant translation into 95 languages, generative avatars from a text prompt, and 20,000 credits per user each month.
Enterprise: $1,649 a year, per user
Annual only. Everything in Professional, plus 200+ ultra-high-quality text-to-speech voices, the Brand Management Suite, advanced collaboration, enterprise security features, and virtually unlimited credits.
Agency: $1,999 a year, per user
Annual only, described as "for creating client-facing content". Everything in Professional, plus the Brand Management Suite, advanced collaboration, and 400,000 credits per user each month.
What AI features cost in credits
The plans page lists credit costs per action. A selection:
| Action | Credits | Plans where listed |
|---|---|---|
| High-quality TTS | 2 per 10 text characters | All four |
| Ultra-high-quality TTS | 10 per 10 text characters | Enterprise, Agency |
| Avatar speech | 40-50 per 10 text characters | All four |
| Custom AI avatar usage | 50 per 10 text characters | All four |
| Translation | 160 per minute of video duration | Enterprise, Agency |
| Text/Doc/Script/URL to video (Vyond Go) | 800 per generation | All four |
| Text to image | 160 (160-800 on Enterprise and Agency) | All four |
| Text to video clip | 2,500-4,000 per generation | Enterprise, Agency |
| Voice cloning | 20,000 | Enterprise, Agency |
Worked examples: what 10,000 Starter credits buy
This is our arithmetic from the table above, assuming you spend a month's credits on one thing only:
- High-quality TTS only: 10,000 ÷ 2 × 10 = 50,000 characters of narration.
- Avatar speech only: at 40 to 50 credits per 10 characters, 2,000 to 2,500 characters.
- Vyond Go generations only: 10,000 ÷ 800 = 12 generations, with 400 credits left.
In practice you'd mix these. The point is that avatar speech uses credits 20 to 25 times faster than high-quality TTS.
A note on conflicting rows
The comparison table isn't fully consistent. "Voice Cloning" is unchecked for Starter and Professional, while a "Custom AI Avatars & Voice Cloning" row under Visual Styles is checked on all four. Translation has a similar mismatch: the Professional card promises instant translation into 95 languages, but the credit-cost table lists the Translation row (160 credits per minute) only for Enterprise and Agency. If voice cloning or translation decides your choice, confirm it with Vyond before buying.
Monthly vs annual billing: worked totals
Starter and Professional are the only plans you can pay monthly:
| Plan | 12 months at the monthly price | Annual charge | Difference | Saving |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | $1,188 | $699 | $489 | 41% |
| Professional | $2,388 | $1,199 | $1,189 | 50% |
Professional's annual price is almost exactly half of paying monthly for a year. These are our calculations, not checkout totals.
Free trial vs paid trial
Vyond's trials help article describes two different things. Don't mix them up:
- Free trial: three watermarked videos, 2,000 credits, no video downloads, and no AI avatars. The article doesn't state a duration.
- US$10 plan trials, in selected regions: seven days, non-refundable. Starter gets 3,000 credits and Professional 5,000. They convert to a paid subscription unless you cancel.
The second isn't free, and the seven-day duration belongs to it, not to the free trial.
Retired plans
Vyond's pricing update FAQ says the Essential plan stopped being available to new users on 7 May 2025, though some continuously renewing accounts keep it. Enterprise Plus merged into Enterprise. Guides that list either as a current option for new customers are out of date.
Is Vyond worth it?
Here's our reading of the plan cards, not Vyond's.
Vyond is built around animated and avatar-led video: characters, AI avatars, text-to-video and charts. If your training content is scenario-based or explainer-style, that's what you're paying for.
For credit-heavy use, check the arithmetic first. On Starter, 100 downloads a month is generous, but avatar speech can use the credit allowance quickly. Professional doubles both and adds team collaboration. Its card also lists translation, but see the conflicting rows above before counting on it.
For comparison, our verified breakdowns of Synthesia pricing and HeyGen pricing cover the avatar-video category using the same method.
Where Vorec fits
Vyond makes animated and avatar videos. Vorec makes narrated tutorials of real software. It records your screen with its own macOS recorder, and an AI agent can drive it for you through the Claude Code plugin, capturing locally for you to review before anything is uploaded. It then drafts narration matched to the workflow it captured and generates the voiceover, so nothing is spoken into a microphone.
In the editor you can add smooth cursor motion, cursor-follow zoom and click-based auto-zoom. Freeze-sync can hold a frame to give an explanation time to finish. The same capture can also produce a written step-by-step guide with annotatable screenshots, and narration regenerates in supported languages on eligible plans.
Vorec focuses on screen-recorded tutorials and written guides. Teams who need animated characters, AI avatars or scenario-based explainers should evaluate Vyond for that.
Vorec's own plans, read live from our billing settings: a 7-day trial with 100 credits and no credit card, then Starter at $9 a month, Pro at $24 and Business at $59, or $86, $230 and $566 a year.
