Trupeer vs Scribe (2026): AI Video or Written Guides?

Vorec Team · 2026-10-21 · About 3 min read

Scribe is built around the written step-by-step guide; Trupeer is built around AI-generated video, with documents as a second output. Both accept existing recordings on paid plans, but they price differently: Scribe per seat, Trupeer in AI credits. Facts come from each vendor's pages captured 15 October 2026; we did not test either tool. Vorec, which publishes this page, is covered at the end.

Which output does your team use?

If readers follow steps on screen, Scribe's written guide is the faster format, and its Basic plan lets you start free (we could not confirm Basic's guide-creation cap). If the process is easier to watch than read, or you publish to a help center with video, Trupeer generates the narrated video and a document from the same recording. Scribe's "Share as video" and Movies view present a guide with motion and voice cues, but we did not confirm a downloadable MP4.

Cost for five people, annual billing

Our arithmetic: Scribe Pro Team is $23 x 5 x 12 = $1,380 a year. Trupeer has no five-creator self-serve plan in the pricing we captured; Scale covers three creators for $2,388 a year, and Enterprise starts at five seats on a custom contract.

Where Vorec fits

Vorec records with its own macOS recorder or takes an uploaded recording, drafts narration matched to the captured workflow, voices it, and can generate a written guide from the same capture. An AI coding agent can drive the recorder through the CLI, keeping the take local until you approve it. Plans: 7-day trial with 100 credits and no card; Starter $9, Pro $24, Business $59 a month (plan catalog, 5 October 2026). See Vorec pricing.
