Articulate 360 Pricing 2026: Teams, Personal, Frontline
Vorec Team · 2026-10-05 · About 7 min read
Articulate 360 AI costs $1,749 per seat a year on Teams and $1,449 a year on Personal. Both are annual subscriptions; the pricing page shows no monthly option. Articulate also sells Frontline, starting at $500 a year for unlimited seats and 100,000 credits, and a custom-priced Hybrid bundle of both.
Those figures are higher than many older guides quote, and the plan lineup has changed. AI generation is now bundled into the main subscription, while AI avatars and translation spend separately purchased credits. This guide covers all of it, using only what Articulate's own pages showed when we read them.
Verified 5 October 2026 from Articulate's rendered pricing page in a desktop browser, with the Teams and Personal views each read twice after the prices settled, plus Articulate's support article on pricing options (updated 10 September 2026). No trial, purchase or sales form was submitted. Taxes and checkout totals weren't checked; see the currency note below.
Articulate 360 plans at a glance
| Plan | Price shown | Billing | Seat basis |
|---|---|---|---|
| Articulate 360 AI Teams | $1,749 | Annual | Per seat |
| Articulate 360 AI Personal | $1,449 | Annual | Per seat |
| Frontline | From $500 | Annual | Unlimited seats, 100,000 credits |
| Hybrid | Custom | Not stated | Contact sales |
Currency note. The English pricing page shows dollar signs, not a "USD" or "US$" label. Its FAQ answers "Do I have to pay in U.S. dollars?" with "No", pointing to regional resellers that "support local currencies". We read that as US-dollar list pricing with local-currency options through resellers, but the checkout sits behind an Articulate sign-in, so we didn't confirm the currency at purchase.
What Teams and Personal include
Both Articulate 360 AI plans include Rise (responsive courses that adapt to any screen) and Storyline (custom, interactive courses), plus AI generation, integrations, distribution, an AI tutor and analytics, per the plan cards.
The two cards differ in one row:
- Teams ($1,749 per seat a year) lists Collaboration: "Get stakeholder input, share for review, and finalize faster".
- Personal ($1,449 a year) lists Review in the same place: "Share content for review with key stakeholders".
One detail that confuses people: the comparison table further down the page keeps showing $1,749 even after you switch the top card to Personal. That's how the page is built, not a different Personal price.
The page doesn't show a separately priced AI Assistant add-on. Older guides that list one describe an earlier lineup.
Frontline and Hybrid
Frontline is a separate product. It starts at $500 a year for unlimited seats and 100,000 credits, and the support article says plans with more credits are available. Articulate describes it as AI-guided training creation with tracking built in, aimed at teams turning knowledge into trackable training rather than at instructional designers.
Hybrid is custom-priced through sales. It puts Articulate 360 AI and Frontline on one agreement with centralized admin and billing. The FAQ says the two products keep separate, non-transferable credit balances even inside Hybrid.
How AI credits work
Credits pay for advanced AI workflows: AI avatars, multi-format translation (Articulate says "80+ languages") and training kit generation. The comparison table marks avatars and translation as "Uses credits" on every plan.
| Credit detail | What Articulate's pages say |
|---|---|
| Price | From $250 for 50,000 credits |
| Top-ups | In 25,000-credit increments, through sales |
| Included work | "Anything included in your plan never touches your credits" |
| Failed generations | Credits are returned |
| Expiry | Credits expire at the end of the subscription term |
How far do credits go? Articulate's FAQ gives one rough example: a Frontline plan with 100,000 credits covers "around 5 kits, 20 minutes of AI avatar video, and translating a short course into three languages". That reads as one combined example of a mix, not three separate allowances. Your own usage will differ.
Worked totals
These are our calculations from the displayed prices, not Articulate quotes or checkout totals.
| Scenario | Annual total |
|---|---|
| 1 Personal seat | $1,449 |
| 1 Teams seat | $1,749 |
| 3 Teams seats | $5,247 |
| 5 Teams seats | $8,745 |
| 1 Teams seat + one 50,000-credit pack | $1,999 |
Spread over 12 months, a Teams seat works out to $145.75 a month and Personal to $120.75 a month. The pages we checked show annual billing only; it's just a way to compare with monthly-billed tools.
Teams costs $300 more per seat a year than Personal. For a solo author who only needs to share work for stakeholder review, that's the difference you're weighing.
On credits, $250 for 50,000 works out to $5 per 1,000 credits at the entry pack. The pages we read don't list per-workflow credit costs, so we can't turn that into a cost per avatar minute.
Education pricing and multi-year plans
The support article lists annual education rates:
| Plan | Standard | Education | Our calculated discount |
|---|---|---|---|
| Teams (per user) | $1,749 | $1,311 | ≈25% |
| Personal | $1,449 | $1,086 | ≈25% |
It also says you can lock current pricing for several years, with annual payments, "when you have five seats or more". That five-seat condition applies to multi-year locking. The pages we read don't state a minimum seat count for an ordinary Teams purchase.
The free trial: 14 days
Articulate's FAQ says a free trial is available for both Articulate 360 AI and Frontline. The trial is 14 days and includes a credit allowance for advanced workflows, though the amount isn't stated. The support article adds that you can invite up to 10 additional users to a trial team.
Some older guides say 30 days. The FAQ we read says 14. We didn't check whether a card is required or how the trial converts.
Is Articulate 360 worth it?
Our reading, not Articulate's: Articulate 360 AI is a course-authoring suite. You're paying for Rise and Storyline, review workflows and course distribution, with AI layered in. For an L&D team that builds tracked courses for an LMS, that is the core job, and per-seat annual pricing is normal for the category.
It's a heavier purchase if what you mostly need is short how-to videos of software. In that case, compare it against a screen-recording tool before committing to a seat. Our breakdown of Camtasia vs Captivate vs Articulate covers how the three authoring options differ, and our verified Adobe Captivate pricing and Camtasia pricing pages use the same method as this one.
Where Vorec fits
Articulate builds courses. Vorec makes narrated tutorials of real software, the kind of clip you might place inside a course. It records your screen with its own macOS recorder, and an AI agent can drive it for you through the Claude Code plugin, capturing locally for you to review before anything is uploaded. It then drafts narration matched to the workflow it captured and generates the voiceover, so nothing is spoken into a microphone.
In the editor you can add smooth cursor motion, cursor-follow zoom and click-based auto-zoom. Freeze-sync can hold a frame to give an explanation time to finish. The same capture can also produce a written step-by-step guide with annotatable screenshots, and narration regenerates in supported languages on eligible plans.
Vorec focuses on screen-recorded tutorials and written guides. Teams that need course authoring, assessments and LMS packaging should evaluate Articulate 360 for that.
Vorec's own plans, read live from our billing settings: a 7-day trial with 100 credits and no credit card, then Starter at $9 a month, Pro at $24 and Business at $59, or $86, $230 and $566 a year.
